MMW Band Camp

The idea of Band Camp is to squeeze the entire process from selecting players, form band, practice & perform all within 3 days. Yes you head it right, within 3 Days! Our first band camp was in Cameron Highland where our students are going through basic music lessons, from band, practice, create their own logo, costume, stage setup, make-up and ultimately performing 2 songs. It was a great success and memorable. 

Then we did another band camp with African orphanage where most of them have never touch a western instrument before. They are overwhelm with joy being able to play on it.  After hours of practice with the guidance of many teachers, they did it. This is no magic. The tricks are simply the planning and team work between each teachers and provide just the right amount of lesson for them to work on. 

Thereafter, we caught the attention from a Chinese friend who reside in Kuala Lumpur and he propose to us to conduct the similar band camp to a group of China students. They will be coming for holidays and will try to fit in this band camp into their itinerary. Again, this is also another successful project. This activity provides them an ultimate joy and perfect for ice-breaking between each other.

We were then approached by X-Training, a reality TV show for Astro XTY channel. It is a reality kid challenge TV show. We recruited 16 students to create 2 band. All of them will go through rigorous practice individually, partnering and full team with the guidance of many teachers. The ultimate goal is the perform and compete at Leisure Mall main stage.

While Band Camp is a supercharged 3 days course, we also provide Band Course which time spend is longer and less intense. All in all, being able to perform on stage is cool. All the values that students gained such as practice, team work, communication, respect are all good for future study and work. The discipline with stay with you forever.
