Being one of the most vocal and prominent stringed orchestral instrument, the cello has become quite eclectic, a lot like the violin. You may hear this instrument as a featured soloist in classical, jazz, broadway and even electric cello in “new age” music. No matter what music you choose, the beauty of the cello will always stand out.
There is no question that learning to play the cello will improve a student’s coordination, aural and reading skills. MMW is looking into combining the new and old to make them ready to take on the world of music.
