Caren grows up in church background at Sabah KK.

She started to serve as drummer in church at the young age of 14. Her passion in music grows as she continue to soak in the worship team, and at the age of 18 when she graduated from high school, she decided to pursue music in UCSI University. In the year 2019, she started her teaching career by an opportunity provided by a musician friend.

All in all, she has 9 years experienced playing on stage as part of worship team in church.

During her internship in 2021, she has this growing interest in game and movie audio she decided to join Medibeats Production as an intern. She gets to take part as a SFX designer in a HK anime ‘TigerShark’ and also a videogame SFX engineer in the game ‘Company Man’.

In the year 2022 as the world still recovering from the pandemic, she and her friends produced a song ‘就爱摆摆’ gaining popularity on 抖音 host channel as a fan theme song. As the producer, she coordinated recordings for singers in China and France in this project. Her first debut as a music producer reaches more than 1M users in 抖音 and over 300k streams in online music platforms.

In the same year, she led Sunflowerband 太阳花乐队 as their band leader and performed as drummer in tiktok live show. They received lots of love from tiktok users and won multiple tiktok awards.

And as of the year 2023, she didn’t stop there as a musician as she diligently express herself on stage and on screen until today.

She hopes to continue inspire and encourage younger generation to never stop finding their creative output using their skills and never stop learning as the world keeps giving you new surprises each and everyday.
