Wen Wei graduated from Diploma of Music Performance in UCSI University, majoring in violoncello. 

As an active players in the orchestra and chamber music, Wen Wei has been performing in KLPAC Orchestra(2023-2024), Philharmonic Winds Malaysia(2023), opera production by KL City Opera—‘OperaSi! La Bohemia’, IMSA Musical Theatre—‘Green Tea’ composed by Isaac Chia and Piano Concerto Concert by UCSI Music Talent Development Programme(2024). Wen Wei also actively promote the cello music with The Cello Choir by organising a series of recital, concert and busking.  

Wen Wei attended cello masterclasses of Jonathan Weigle, Matyas Major, Anastasia Ferulev and Florent Audibert, as well as chamber music masterclass with Gerald Davis, Concordia Quartet and Datin Veronika Thoene from Kamerata KL.

To explore more possibilities on cello teaching, Wen Wei attended a few sessions of cello pedagogy provided by Bruno Ventocilla and Miranda Harding during the Cello Summer Programme 2024.
