Scientific research has shown that learning the piano is beneficial to the development of memory, emotional being, creativity and confidence of an individual. Students also develop hand-eye-coordination when playing the piano, which is vital for stimulating different parts of the brain. All these benefits could prove crucial and useful for youngsters and teenagers throughout their school years.
While we know that learning the piano in its early stages can be difficult, MMW steers away from monotonous play-by-book lessons by teaching students how to appreciate and enjoy classical music while throwing emotions into the pieces they play, be it for fun, personal pleasure, or as part and parcel of their preparations for formal exams.
